We offer a magnificent three-story Craftsman style home built in 1914.
Original period furnishings, oriental carpets, wood paneled rooms,
wide porches, bedrooms with sleeping porches, built-in cabinets, Spanish
style terra cotta tile roof, and vine covered portico delight visitors.
This is a perfect setting for special occasions of all types –
weddings, receptions, dinner and anniversary parties, and business
meetings. Group tours may enjoy catered luncheons on the porch as
well as guided tours of the home, gardens, and studio. Please call
251/675-4605 to schedule your special event or tour.
Almost four acres of gardens filled with native and heirloom plants
greet your party. Big leaf magnolias, gingers, hollies, angel’s
trumpets, gardenias, native azaleas, camellias, and roses surrounded
by towering live oak trees and stands of bamboo grace the grounds.
A beautiful location for outdoor weddings and other special occasions
awaits your special event.
The studio of nationally recognized ceramic artists Mary Kirk Kelly
was established at Kirk House over 30 years ago. Known for exquisite
detail and coloration, her ceramic produce may be found in collections
throughout the United States and abroad.
